Transcription Prices Per Minute

We charge a standard price for all types of transcription in English of audio and video recording, regardless of the number of speakers, accents and background noise.

Our Standard Transcription Rate – £1.42 per minute plus VAT *

* The Typing Works provides a unique method for calculating transcription prices. We charge per actual word spoken, so you do not pay for silence on audio recordings, unlike all of our competitors. A slower speaker will cost slightly more, a fast speaker will cost less. We have been providing this service for over 20 years and a large proportion of our clients continually return to us for additional work. Our turnaround time is the same for all clients – we will usually return within 7 days, sometimes a lot less and occasionally a bit longer for larger orders.
