The Typing Works – Prices

We charge by the thousand words, which is calculated on an output basis not time, so that even if we have to re-listen to parts of the recording because the quality is poor, or there is ‘dead time’ (i.e. reading of paperwork etc), we do not pass that time onto the client. We estimate generally that 1 hour of digital audio time is approximately 9,000 – 10,000 words.

Please note, there is no extra charge for multiple speakers or focus groups.

We handle orders of any size and can cope with multiple files. We are a team of experienced transcribers who have worked together for many years, which means you will have a steady stream of work emailed back to you as soon as files are completed.
